Joey is a writer from Maine, where he lives with his wife and pets in a house full of  soulmates.
He writes comics like THE PEDESTRIAN, PAWN SHOP, BATMAN: URBAN LEGENDS, and more to
be announced. He was selected to be part of the DC Comics Writers Workshop in 2017.

Sean Von Gorman

Sean Von Gorman is an Eisner Nominated Comics Illustrator & Writer. He is known for Co-Creating TOE TAG RIOT, SECRET ADVENTURES OF HOUDINI, PAWN SHOP and THE PEDESTRIAN.

Brian Ruppert

Brian Ruppert is a filmmaker, teacher, and host of the podcast Reviewing History. Brian has been involved in independent film since 2006. In 2015, his debut feature film The Uninvited Guest was released. Since 2017 he has worked on the podcast Tell Em Steve Dave doing various video production tasks. 

John Soda James

John Soda James plays guitar and sings. He’s in a band called, Coventry Carols. He writes songs,
makes art, writes poetry and once had a YA novel published along with many other pieces of
writing in various/multiple publications. He’s been on TV, in movies, toured all over. Most
recently, his aforementioned band, Coventry Carols were featured on the soundtrack of the
film THE FOREST HILLS starring the late Shelly Duvall in her final performance. And, also sells
80's and 90's goodies via RETRO BLAST!

John Yamrus

John Yamrus has had more than 3,500 of his poems published in books, magazines and anthologies over the course of his 5 decade long career, has also seen his work taught in a
number of colleges and universities.

Mark Hoffmann

Mark Hofmann has been a newspaper reporter for over 20 years and is also an award-winning
humor columnist, playwright and contributor to countless “For A Good Time Call...” writings on
restroom stalls.

Kirby Taylor

Kirby Taylor is a Minneapolis based writer and creator. With 4 complete feature length scripts
and plenty more original works on the way, she loves all things movies. Her favorite things are a
bucket of popcorn and her dog Remy. For the movie and meme lovers, check out her cine-centric Instagram, @popcorny.movies.

Matt Longo/
Thin Lear

Matt Longo is a NJ-based songwriter who writes and performs under the moniker Thin Lear. His
new EP, A Beach of Nightly Glory, out now via Metropolitan Groove Merchants, was produced
by Matthew E. White at Spacebomb Studio, and has received early praise and features on Bandcamp Daily, Under the Radar, Talkhouse, and PopMatters.

Detective Chris

Detective Chris has been sitting with us at our lunch table since the 3rd grade.  He protects the lunch table with the skills he's learned at the Lunch Table Police Academy and from watching Batman movies.  

Shawny Babes

If you've listened to our show, you've no doubt heard Shawn talk about music and movies and theme parks.  He's one of our more frequent guests...and Mike's neighbor!

Uncle Rob

Uncle Rob is also Mike’s big brother! An accomplished drummer, songwriter, and filmmaker, Rob has created music videos and short films including Back to the Future Part 4 and “Daydreaming,” a parody of the iconic Inception  film.

Visions By Simon

Simon is New York based photographer known for his artful model photography as well as drone videography.  If you want to look good in a photo, have Simon take it!

Handsome Alex

What else can we say about Handsome Alex other than he's soooooooo good lookin!  He's also a fantastic artist, a big fan of Lilo & Stitch and he's an all around great guy!

Marco

What do you do when your mom throws all your old toys away?  You go on a quest to replace them!  Marco is an avid retro toy collector who has appeared on multiple episodes to tell us the  tale of his collecting!

Mike Schlapp is a stage and film actor, a high school class mate, the voice of the Cool Kids Comics & Toys radio and a friend to everyone he meets!

Amy

Amy is an educator, a hula hooper, a mermaid and our friend since elementary school.  She's helped us review movies and more!
